19th C Antique H.P. Davies Madonna Clock Cast Iron & Wood Lions Floral Case ~17”

Description: This listing is for a 19th Century Antique H.J. Davies ( New York, USA ) figural Madonna Clock, with a Cast Iron & Wood case. It has fantastic Lion handles on the side and intricate Floral detailing across the case. Some of the moulding / detail elements are wood, but the bulk of the case is case iron, the madonna is spelter of some kind. It stands approximately ~17” inches tall. The classical design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It currently is not running, I have discerned the case to be a gnarled spoke or two on its main timing gear, I believe with a light adjustment it would readily work. It ticks and runs strongly until those spokes hit their turn to come around. There is one crack on the madonna, stable and easily concealed or left. It is in otherwise good condition, with no major damage. Has some other light wear from age, see photos. Comes with pendulum.
