He logged starter's minutes at shooting guard, point guard and small forward. Few players have such a multitude of skills, and even fewer learn how to use them as early in their career as Kobe. That is all even more remarkable considering he made the leap to the NBA directly from Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA. He was the 13th overall pick of the 1996 NBA Draft.
