If you think you're seeing something not mentioned in this listing, please ask!!Here's a little info on Thoroughbred Music which was extremely well known throughout Florida:Thoroughbred Music is a music store chain that was started in Tampa, Florida by Elliot Rubinson as a side business to his music career. Rubinson opened stores in Tampa, Clearwater, Orlando, Sarasota, and Nashville, Tennessee. In 1993, he moved the headquarters to Clearwater's former Kapok Tree Restaurant, where he began selling organs, pianos, and band instruments.Elliott Rubinson fell in love with the bass at the age of 12 and played it every waking moment as he grew up in Queens, New York, in the rock era of the 1960s. He toured with a number of bands and eventually decided to start his own music store in Florida so he could spend his days immersed in music as well as his performing nights. Thoroughbred Music was opened in 1976 and branched out to create and develop Elliott’s own line of products including Dean Guitars and DDrums. Elliott sold the stores in 1999 to focus on music wholesale, which is when he formed Armadillo Enterprises. He passed away on February 6, 2017 at the young age of just 62.Here's The Run Down:As you can see this Amazing Guitar is in Near Mint Condition with NO flaws to note other than minor pick scratching. It was part of a collection and used very little, so the play wear is very low and was obviously stored and well taken care of (please see all pics for its true cosmetic condition). The top is in beautiful shape, nice and flat with no bridge issues (pictured). The back/sides of the guitar are also in great condition with no flaws to note (see pics). The neck & head stock are in great shape without issue (pictured). NO chips, dings or cracks. The original frets are in great shape, showing only minimal wear and plays beautifully as it sits (see pics). The truss rod operates as it should and it plays great over the entire finger board. The original gold hardware is still in great condition showing little wear (see pics).This Ovation USA 1720-4 Anniversary Model is a great playing, looking and collectible guitar! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is currently at 3/32" at the body and plays excellent from one end of the board to the other. All on board electronic are original and operate at 100%.The Original Ovation Hard Case is in very good condition showing little wear and tear. It may have some marks, flaws & scuffs here and there from moving it around, but still very clean overall. All latches and hinges operate properly.Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.Make sure you view all of the pics, and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
