This is the December 8, 1992 one pound sterling issued by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc in commemoration of the European Summit which took place in Edinburgh in December 1992. The note which is clean and crisp has a green and dark green design over multicolor underprint. The note depicts the image of Lord Ilay at right on the front. It also has a blue-violet overprint to the left of the front with a circle of star having the inscription "European Summit Edinburgh December 1992" in its center. The back has the same color scheme as the front with the image of Edinburgh Castle to the left. It is signed by Chief Executive and displays his signature on the front. The front also displays the date and the serial number. This particular note has the serial number 1819054 and it is series EC. The banknote has a watermark which can be found to the left of the front and it depicts the image of Lord Ilay facing to the front.
