1989 RARE "MISSING L" ERROR PENNY, No Mint Mark, UNGRADED, UNCERTIFIED

Description: This coin is quite unusual and has several characteristics that we believe to be classified as errors. On the front of the coin the letter L in liberty appears to be missing, but a trace of it can be noticed under a microscope or strong magnifying glass. It is speculated that grease may have been in the dye to cause this effect but we are not certain of what caused this issue. The coin is also unique because it has what appears to be unusual impressions on the reverse. We are not sure what to call them, or what may have caused them, but they have the appearance of what we describe as "worm tunneling" And what looks like possible over strikes. I am not completely sure of the color of the coin so I'm not going to speculate. This coin would make an excellent addition to any collection and is offered at a very reasonable and fair price.
