Description: Item up for sale is a delightful vintage folk art painting depicting a rural furniture shop set against a river and landscape. Building in the photo is marked "Ruebens Furniture" with a location given of Hurlock, Maryland which is a small town situated in Dorchester County, MD. Painting is signed in the lower right with "Uncle Rueben Thanks Norris" with a marked date of "12-89". Item was found unframed and will come the same. Surface of the artwork shows some spots of paint wear and discoloration with verso of the painting showing soiling and patina consistent with age. Canvas shows no rips, tears, holes or dimples.
