I bought this a long time ago and this is what the seller said.. “a capitals expert said that is was most likely 82-83 preseason because of no “C” and the name was likely added by Keith Parker afterward. I think I got it from Keith Parker (capitals equipment manager) He said that they did not have NOB in preseason of 82-83. He said that it looked like it had been worn in the preseason and that Keith Parker’s work adding the nameplate at the end of the pre-season.” Not sure of the validity of this statement but a disclaimer for context.
