Description: These outstanding, extra large earrings hail from the 1980's era. They were handmade in Taxco, Mexico of .925 sterling silver. The top portion is patterned in stripes and dots, while the rounded hanging portion is smooth. This juxtaposition creates a truly eye-catching effect! Add them to your jewelry box today! The earrings are in excellent vintage condition with typical age/use related wear. They have a mild, warm patina. The edges of the hanging 'knockers' are slightly bent in places. There is some light scratching and they could use a bit of polishing. I have not cleaned or touched them up in any way. Measurements are approximately 2 7/8” long x 2 1/4” wide and they weigh 45 grams.
