Description: This is an authentic ribbon identical to those used by Tiffany & Co. for the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals that they manufactured and which were awarded to the winners at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid. If you have a medal with a damaged ribbon, or no ribbon, then you need this. These ribbons were attached to a limited number of medals presented by Electrolux, who was an official sponsor of the Games, and are identical to the ribbons on the winners' medals. For comparison purposes only, I have included a photo of a silver and a bronze winner's medal with the same ribbons (these two winner's medals are NOT for sale). I have a silver-plated bronze Electrolux medal in its original case with its original ribbon for sale. The ribbon can be removed and placed on a winner's medal -- it is the same ribbon. It is approximately 34" (17" doubled over) plus some overlap at the seam. It is in very good condition. See the photos.
