Description: ***Date of manufacture is Feb 10 1976*** ***STAND IS NOT INCLUDED**** This is a very clean 1/3HP Craftsman bench grinder. This saw only very light use in a home garage and was said to have only sharpened tools and blades occasionally (the coarse wheels say otherwise however as I don’t know how a sharp edge could be anything but roughed with the pictured wheels). The wheels appear to be a coarse and medium coarse wheel and there’s no damage to either-just signs of average use. The paint has some “age” to it and has minor scratches and scuffs in some areas as can be expected for its age. It runs and operates beautifully with the wheels spinning smoothly after shutdown. There’s no unusual vibrations or noise from bearings. (The vibration seen in the video is because my butcher block counter top has a slight bow in the center). Rest assured-this machine is ready to go to work. It comes just as shown with all the parts, but may or may not be sent disassembled to some degree. (The plastic eye shields and lamp shade top will certainly be packaged separately). The cord is in great shape minus one small abrasion seen in photos where the insulation is through on the black wire (see photo). The lamp works when the grinder powers up. The plastic shield on the lamp shade has a couple cracks as seen in photos-but it hasn’t broken apart or been separated from the lamp head. Shipping is included at the sale price to the lower 48 from Union Grove, Wi 53182. I have other grinders that I’ve saved and renovated and can sell them “restored” as well. Any questions-please feel free to ask.
