Description: This is a Herman Miller Action Office II Series roll-top desk, designed by George Nelson in 1965. This example dates to 1975 and is dated as such. The piece features a rich walnut-veneered tambour, and has a cast aluminum and tubular steel base. It has a laminate worktop and hard plastic accouterments throughout. This desk is 34 inches tall, 54 inches wide and 31 inches deep. The aluminum base shows some light wear and the edges of the wood shows some signs of use also. The Herman Miller stamp is present. The walnut is in very good condition and has been freshly oiled. Overall, the piece is in very good condition to excellent vintage condition with some wear. Please see photos.
