Basically all the dirty work has been done for you. Thanks again and hope to do some business with you! You are looking at an original Cylinder / Jug Assembly that I pulled off a 1974 Yamaha MX 100. When it comes to originals, it will not get much better than this. Considering what you normally pull off a 50 year old bike, it really won't get much nicer. No it's not perfect but it is pretty stinking good... The outside of the assembly is in solid condition with NO cracked or missing fins. Threads are good to go on the mounting stems and no question it will mount up and work as designed. Really no kind of damage to speak of... The cylinder wall is still on the factory bore. Overall it's really really solid. The bike ran a few years ago according the previous owner and the cylinder wall pretty much confirms that. It's still on the factory bore and plenty of material to drop in a larger piston if you wanted to do so. You could probably get away with a quick hone and fine tune it out. Either way you have a fantastic jug to get your bike back up and running. I took a rough measurement at the top end for reference purposes... No question it's not all clapped out and has plenty of life left in it once you get it dialed in. I went ahead and media blasted the assembly down and did a light polishing so hopefully, you can make everything out in the provided photos. My opinion it really cleaned up great and the motor this came out of really was not pushed at all. If you need to replace your jug for any reason or simply want to upgrade, this is certainly worth some consideration. I really can't add anything you don't already see in the provided photos and the winning bidder should be pleased. This is by far the cleanest original assembly that is currently listing out on ebay or has been sold in the past 3 months. As you already know these things do not come up for sale that often let alone in this kind of condition. So if you are looking for the best available and you're serious about your bike, look no further than right here.
