Description: Offered here is a book or "fanzine" printed in 1974. It was written and compiled by Robert Weinberg as a tribute to Lester Dent & Doc Savage. It measures 5 & 1/2 inches, by 8 & 1/2 inches and has a "card stock" cover, with 127 pages. The cover reads, "The Man Behind Doc Savage - A Tribute to Lester Dent." Inside, it is marked, "Copyright 1974." No other date appears. The cover and several illustrations inside were created by Franklin E. Hamilton. Several old covers from pulp magazine are listed inside, as well as plenty of printed information. I'm guessing that this was printed in small quantities and mostly distributed by its author. This example is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition. There is a hint of soiling and yellowing to the covers. The pages inside are clean and white. No writing. No tears. No creases.
