He served as Project Manager and Deputy Director over multiple key programs including HEAO the Hubble Space Telescope AXAF/Chandra receiving multiple Exceptional and Leadership Service Medals with one being for the Lunar Rover Vehicle and Yaw Rate Gyro Award for Apollo and Skylab. This listing is for a 1972 NASA Marshall Space Flight Center APOLLO 16 ASTRONAUT SIGNED (John Young - Ken Mattingly - Charlie Duke) Awards Ceremony Program where all three astronauts attended and were listed as speakers in the program PLUS a Framed Group Achievement Award to the YAW RATE GYRO ENGINEERING SUPPORT TEAM for "solving expeditiously the Instrument Unit rate gyro signal problem encountered during the final Apollo 16 countdown." Approximate Measurements are below:Awards Frame - 11x14 with 8x10 Certificate (appears to be on Photo paper with the Gold Seal attached) plus Individualized Plate from Eberhard Rees (1-3/4"W x 6-1/4"L)Signed Astronaut Special Honor Awards Ceremony Program - June 22, 1972 Marshall Space Flight Center - 5"W x 7"L with frame - 7-1/2"W x 9-3/4"L (Looks to of been framed by Mr. WOJTALIK - Previous Owner).Both are in Very Good overall condition for use and age with some expected storage/age wear. Program is signed on the front and appears to be the full program (taped to matte and did not remove, but can see staple binding on edge and multiple pages - see pictures 11-13). Frame has some wear with a broken corner (see picture 23) Not easily visible. Badge shown in last pictures is NOT included in listing, but shown only for reference.
