1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Baja Bug

Description: Here is my 1971 Volkswagen beetle converted to Baja bug , I searched the countryside for a Volkswagen and managed to find this amazing Baja bug that somebody else had done so much work to then left sitting . on 1st examination showed that the top end of the motor had been worked on and had new clean shiny heads however it leaks a little oil so the bottom end of the motor should be redone at some point, I took it to a shop and had sooo many things fixed including a brand-new carburetor and brand-new distributor, brand-new breaks all the way around , brand-new master cylinder and a brand-new gas tank. A new voltage regulator and the lights are all working except the front turn signals need to be replaced . It fires right up when you turn the key and the motor sounds really nice with a header. . It has 3 sets of wheels - the original 5 lug stock wheels with tires , next is a set of 4 chrome Speedwell 15 inch chrome wheels with brand new tires worth about $2000 and on the vehicle are brand-new EMPI Raiders with brand-new Toyo tires, just paid $2000 for the tires and wheels that are on the vehicle . My goal was to finish it this summer but I just didn't have time as my small businesses very busy and even now I don't have time to keep working on it- I wish I did . It still needs lots of little things dialed in and in a perfect world the entire body should come off so the new owner can tighten every nut bolt and screw and rustproof everything unfortunately I don't have the time or space to complete this project and it needs to be done right. I have done so much work to the car but it still needs so many little things and I just wish I had time. I patched the passenger-side pan underneath the battery and just added new photos to this listing with the seats in and a clean interior .
