Description: From John Stanley Antique Tools. This listing is for a Snow & Nealley Co. / Bangor, Maine axe. From the 1960's - 70's. As shown this has had little use and still has the factory edge. Original S&N handle. On the under side '3 1/2' is stamped for the weight. This has never been sharpened. Measures 28 7/8" long. The head measures 7 1/4" long with a 4" wide cutting edge. Due to being stored in a dry environment the handle has loosened a very little. Great axe to add to your collection or to use.
