Item Description: A pair of Original 1970 BBC Engine Lifting Eyes, Brackets, Hooks, used to install Chevrolet engines on the assembly line and left on the engine. These were removed from a 1970 454 that was in a special order station wagon but is absolutely correct for the Chevelles and other Chevrolets for that model year with big block engines. The engine had never been apart. The part number 3969829 is factory stamped and is not some sort of restamp. The last photo was taken before the two parts were partially cleaned to check for identification, damage, and to take the other photos. Note the M inside the C on the bracket without the part number. The brackets are straight, not damaged, and ready for final cleaning and painting. Please check the photos. Very hard to find, especially a matched pair, and absolutely needed to have a correct restoration engine. For example how do you convince a judge that you have a real LS6 without these? Just saying. Shipping: We will securely box the item ourselves with no charge for the packaging materials or our time (no handling charges). We prefer to use the USPO or UPS but if you require other methods, we can most likely accommodate you. If our listing shows "free shipping" or a "fixed shipping charge", that is for shipping to the continental USA states. If that does not apply to you, then please contact us for the shipping charge. In all cases, you will never be charged more than the actual carrier shipping/insurance cost.
