Description: 1968 Galaxie Battery Tray Patch Panel 65-67?? Measured my 68 XL convertible with battery out obviously. My 66 measures to be same, but measured with battery in. Made from .04” steel. The one corner above body mount will need to be trimmed. Can be used as-is, or take time to tweak to fit perfect, then paint. Can be riveted in, welded, adhesive, many options. Yes Jim, very strong. With flanges on front and read edges, and inner edge, feels very solid. And I have not welded in yet. ThnxLast pic shows trim of flange above body mount, and slight curl of tall rear flange to fit curvature of inner fender.
