Description: This listing is for ONE (1), NEW Reproduction, 7" , Headlamp Shell & Rim, as fitted to the 1968-1974 Norton Commando Roadster, Interstate and Combat models. This is a reproduction of the original Lucas assembly which is no longer available and if located new.....will cost much more. If your original Lucas assembly is rusted and pitted it is worth getting rechromed. Meanwhile this unit will work well to temporarily or permanently replace the original. This is a well crafted part. It has one bottom wiring harness entrance hole, 3 warning light holes, the headlamp switch hole, the rim retainer bolt hole, the harness clip and the 7" outer rim complete with all mounting tabs. It is identical to the original Lucas shell without having the Lucas insignia or price. Later models with turn signals used the turn signal stocks to mount the shell, this will mount to all models of the Commando. 1975-77 Norton Commando Roadster, Interstate and High Rider Mark III models (electric start) used a dash console for mounting of the ignition switch and small warning lamps. This shell has three (3) holes at the top for mounting the 1968-74 style warning lamps. If you own a Mark III Commando and wish to convert to the earlier headlamp style this is the shell you will need. We have warning lamp kits available for oil, flasher and high beam listed in our eBay store. We also have available the Mark III headlamp shells. Please Note: All Norton High Rider and SS models used a 5 3/4" smaller headlamp. The 1975-77 High Rider used a 5 3/4" headlamp with no warning lamp holes as it was fitted with the standard Mark III console, we have those shells available. See our eBay store or email us.
