Description: Offered for sale is this Vintage & Rare 1965 Canadian issued Skipper & Skooter Doll Case in Nr Mint Condition & issued 59 years ago in Canada by Mattel Canada Ltd & this Canadian version is not found in any guides... Differs from the USA issued case in that the graphics of Skipper & Skooter are different colors on this Canadian case & also the handle is classic Canadian style & rounded. Very nice condition with tear to inside lid but will display very nicely. Canadian issued doll cases from the 1960's are very sought after by Vintage Barbie & Doll Case collectors... especially the Canadian issued as they often have graphics & designs specific to Canada only & were issued in much smaller numbers than the USA Barbie cases of that time. Made of vinyl they did not wear that well & so few have survived & they are Rare !!!! Case measures 15 1/2"x10"x3 1/2" & stamped 1965 Mattel Inc.. The USA version was issued by SPP (Standard Plastic Products). These are from my personal collection which took me years to collect but i have decided to part with my collection of Rare Barbie Doll cases & other doll collectibles.
