1965 GIBSON SJ (SOUTHERN JUMBO) GUITAR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, WITH ADJ. BRIDGE

Description: This is a 1965 Gibson SJ (Southern Jumbo) in very good condition. The original finish has some normal finish wear, primarily just a few nicks or dings, and some moderate finish checking. There are no cracks in the body, neck, or headstock repairs, or structural issues of any kind. This is an issues-free guitar. Only the tuners have been changed to Schallers some time ago by a previous owner. We do not have the originals. Otherwise, the guitar is fully original with Brazillian Rosewood bridge and fingerboard, ceramic adjustable height bridge saddle, thin plastic original pickguard, right down to the original endpin. This original guitar has not even had an after-market strap button installed at the neck heel!The neck is straight, the frets are in great shape, as seen in the close-ups, and the neck depth is a medium C-shaped contour. The 6th string height is just 4/64-inches at the 12th fret, as seen in the last picture, and the first string's height is 3/64's, yet there is no fret buzzing. The bridge plate is original, as seen in the close-ups with the inspection mirror in the near to the last pictures.This fine-sounding and easy-to-play vintage Gibson will give you years of service.
