Description: I was lucky enough to buy a very nice vintage Gibson SG Junior today from the original owner. This great guitar is in superb condition in the original Gibson Chipboard case and it even has a key chain tag from the company the person bought it from. This amazing SG junior has very little in the way of dings, checking, or other issues you might see on a guitar this old. The frets have almost no wear and I don’t think this guitar was ever played much, or even taken out of the case over the years. This guitar plays great, sounds incredible, and at only 5 pounds, 13.4 ounces, is quite easy to handle. Serial number is 323214. This seems to date it in the 1965 range which is when the person who sold it to us said he bought it new. The guitar has never been modified or changed and the seller told me that the strings on it are only the second set of strings it ever had. The case is in great shape as well but does have a little issues where someone may have peeled a bit of the fake leather covering off on one part of the case. Again, a pretty minor thing. This is a superb guitar in amazing condition that is ready for your collection. It does have one tiny issue which I should have worked out by the time it sells, but which I will not make a price adjustment for. The issue is the person who sold me the guitar took the tremolo bar off at one time and lost the nut to hold it on. Everything else is there but the original nut. I don’t feel that is much of an issue on a guitar this nice.
