McCarthy postcard of Dennis Bennett when he played for the Boston Red Sox sometime between 1965 and 1967. It is unused, but has wear of all four corners. Please see the photos. Dennis Bennett was a left-handed pitcher who played seven seasons in the major leagues for the following teams: Philadelphia Phillies 1962-1964Boston Red Sox 1965-1967New York Mets 1967California Angels 1968 J. D. McCarthy was a Detroit area sports photographer and known as “The Postcard King”. He snapped pictures of many Major League Baseball players. If the player liked McCarthy’s photo he could order a supply of postcards made from that image, which could then be used for responding to fan mail and autograph requests. The Topps Company also hired him on a freelance basis. Shipping is via an eBay standard plain white envelope for $0.70. I will combine shipping on additional items based upon weight and size of the final package to minimize shipping costs.
