1962 Sunbeam Alpine

Description: We have owned this car for 12-15 years ( we have too many cars to keep track of ) and it is the last manual shift car we have which is why I am selling it. The older I get the less patience I have in stop / go traffic around here to shift constantly . So that being said,,,,, since I have had it the following was done. - 4 new tires - New brake part throughout- New exhaust system- New interior including recovered seats / door panels / carpet / dash pad and trim- Car was stripped to bare metal and repainted the original Wedgewood Blue - it was white- All tune ups and fluid changes have been kept up yearly and it is stored in an a/c hurricane and flood proof facility when not driven. - New dash gauges- New dash wiring - New front and rear stainless steel bumpers- New tail lenses and parking lenses and emblems and trim pieces and I am sure there is more The car has its original removable hardtop. There is no rust on the car and there is nothing that it needs that I am aware of. It does not leak. It does not drip oil and it does not smoke when running and it runs and drives well. Just took it on a 2 hour road trip with a friend on the interstate. Prior to our obtaining it the prior owner removed the Sunbeam 4 cylinder and installed a Toyota 2 L 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed transmission. It makes for a more reliable, peppier and more fun car to drive and keep up with traffic on the interstate. I don't know any other history than that. The car was bought out of California and has been in Florida since. Currently letting a friend drive the car since I am deep in other projects but it can be seen or driven anytime with a little notice.
