Description: You are bidding on (1) 1961-D Franklin Half Dollar - D/D, DDR, Double-Die Reverse, FBL - Full Bell GEM+ This coin is a TRUE rarity! Not only does it have the D/D (D over D) mint mark, it has doubling all around the lettering on the reverse! (See the magnified photos). I was looking at this coin and the doubling in the letters just JUMPED out at me! I was e when I saw this and quickly did some research. The 1961 proof has doubling, however the Denver mint Franklin does not have any information about doubling in the coin features, just the D/D strike. This discovery coin certainly unique, and can be yours! Thank you for looking at this WONDERFUL specimen I have found, and please message me with any questions regarding this discovery piece!! Also, please check out my other listings. I hope you find something you like!
