Description: Vintage 1960s Red Double breasted Wool Blazer Sport Coat (39 Tall) Ivy Atomic Mod Retro Boating HolidayUp for sale is this rare double breasted blazer from the 1960s. Double breasted blazers with two-button closures experienced a come-back in the mid to late 1960s. They were favored by the mod crowd, but could easily crossover to the Ivy set. The cut of this blazer is an American style with a two-button closure (six buttons), peaked lapels, natural shoulders, a slightly slimmer waist, and a single rear vent. The material is a soft wool flannel. The style, material and cut are typical for the mid to late 1960s. Condition: Very Good / Excellent vintage condition. One small moth hole on the right sleeve near the buttons -see photos. Otherwise, no flaws, no stains. Only lightly used. Original size tag is in the pocket.
