Description: A vintage handmade Seminole Indian Doll circa1960’s made with a woven palmetto cylindrical body, woven palmetto head, and traditional colorful clothing consisting of a cape and skirt decorated with rick rack. The doll measures 5 7/8 inches tall. She wears a multi strand glass bead necklace. Her hairstyle is that of a ponytail. Some of the white stuffing in the base is showing through gaps in the palmetto. (See photo.) There is a tiny bit of red thread where her mouth should be which I suspect is a remnant of a larger stitch that is gone. Otherwise the doll is in excellent condition. Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value. This item is inventory #10043.
