Description: 1958 WASHINGTON Green/Chrome License Plate Year TAB TAG - Nice for CAR or TRUCK Nice Quality reproduction Registration sticker Tab for CAR or TRUCK license plates, Green/Chrome (like the original). Correct size & color, and recognized for use on vintage plates. The '58 tabs were green foil background with the chrome number (see photos submitted). Because the tab is of a Foil/Chrome material, it is almost impossible to take a good quality photo... it's like taking a picture of a mirror. I've included shots at different angles to give the best visual. They do look good, I promise. 1958 was the first year Washington issued the sticker tabs (making '57 the LAST year the metal tabs were issued). 1958 is the only year during 1958 thru 1976 that the same tab was used for both CAR or TRUCK... The following years, '59 thru '76, all tabs for cars, were a different color combination than the truck tabs... Then, in 1977 the tabs were considered "Motor Vehicles", and from that year, forward, the same tab has been used for both Car or Truck plates.
