The Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner was a two-door full-size retractable hardtop convertible, manufactured and marketed by Ford Motor Company for model years 1957–1959. Early in the 1959 model year, its name was expanded to Fairlane 500 Galaxie Skyliner. The retracting roof system was very reliable and marketed as the Hide-Away Hardtop which was exclusively sold on this Ford-branded model for three model years.This model car features the retractable hardtop, opening doors, opening hood, and steerable wheels all operational. No scratches or other visible damage. Display case is in excellent condition with matching name label.This car is wrapped in bubble wrap to sit snugly within the display case. The display case is bubble wrapped to nest snugly in the original box. And they reside in a larger box surrounded by foam peanuts for safe travel.
