Description: The dust on the camera's lens has made the throat holes pictures look imperfect and spotted. The paint on these two photos is smooth and unspotted. The filter is stamped with a vendor id number application.It is used but fairly clean,This is a 1957-1958 air cleaner number correct 1821398 for Plymouth Fury, Dodge D-500 and Chrysler 300. A carburetor throat gasket is provided, but the capture clamp to attach the air cleaner to the 2 BBL carburetor is missing. DeSoto for 1957 -1958 carries a similar style of side mount air cleaner but it carries a different part number,. It may use the alternative mounting style air cleaner pictured in photo #5 ( See last Photo).That style attaches to the 2BBl carb with a bridge on the carb that is wing nutted through the depress in the air cleaner. The air cleaner here on sale could be modified to that style with some bench work. I can not verify any applications to 1959.
