Description: Note: Watermark does not appear on actual photo. Up for sale is a 4” X 5.25” 1956 photo of Elvis Presley - a Rare early studio photo. The image displays well. On the back is evidence of having been posted in scrapbook/photo album, as well as some surface paper loss, which does not affect image. Rubber stamped on the reverse is what appears to be an individuals/Studio name (Mrs ….?) and Grand Blanc, Mich. This is one of the rarer images of Elvis and you may be hard pressed to find another. I have two additional Elvis photos posted reflecting his time in the US Army if you would care to work out a package deal. Issued the year his first album came out, a fan has written "I'm Counting on You" on the back, which was his top song at the time this photo was issued (1956). There are other additional handwritten notes from much later (and a tracing of the origin inscription) which was done much later in the 1970's, but the photo is original to 1956. Clear and bold, this is a studio photo of the king we have never seen before and it presents beautifully with some evidence from being in a scrapbook at one time.
