Description: This listing is for the 1953 yearbook of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. This edition of the Microcosm highlights school organizations and activities during the 1952 - 1953 school year. The seniors have short biographies and a senior portraits. Nice photographs in the book of the faculty, organizations, sports teams and pictures of the campus. The book is in good condition. The cover is in good shape with some wear around the edges. The binding is in good shape and all pages are securely attached. The pages are generally clean with no marks or tears. I found one issue - one page has a cut-out (see the picture of senior portraits). It appears that a child may have neatly cut out the bottom portion of the page. Although 2 portraits are minimally impacted, the harm does not seem great. This is a unique collectible book for a graduate or anyone interested in the school's history. Domestic shipping will be by Postal Service Media Mail unless other shipping arrangements are made. Media Mail is the least expensive option but is also the slowest (up to 9 days, according to the Post Office). Payment to be via Paypal.
