1952 The Coast Guardsman's Manual Pristine 1st edition Pub U S Naval Institute

Description: I hope my Living Estate Sale offers a great new home for this wonderful 1st Edition of The Coast Guardsman's Manual published 1952 by the United States Naval Institute of Annapolis, Maryland. Strong gilt lettering on cover and spine and strong shiny deep blue ink hardcover. Spine and corners are firm and strong with no bumping and all pages are clean and intact. There is a simple original Guardsman's name on the interior cover. The book is 823 pages to the end of the glossary index. The only blemish to the entire book is one very small discoloration that encroaches less than 1/4" into a very small section of edge of the interior pages and disappears by page 40. I don't really know what is a fair and equitable price. I see no copies of this book available for sale. One previous copy had sold for around $50, but it was in very poor overall condition and considering the dramatic influence condition has on book values it can't be used as a comparable.Along the same lines I have to take consideration into account for the small blemish on the first few pages. So I will list at what I feel is a very attractive price, include my typical free shipping, a donation to charity and utilize the "Best Offer" format for all fair buyer considerations.
