On the back, you can feel the round sound effect box. Elsie still makes a "Moo" sound when you shake the toy swiftly towards you. A nice well-preserved example with great eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain wear. Moderate fabric deterioration on black "hoof" areas with minimal fur loss. Generally, fur material is soft & has aged well with no seam separations. "Moo" sound is temperamental at times but functional. Black neck ribbon possibly not original. No vinyl tears on head (paint remains bold & vibrant). Overall, we feel this example is still a very displayable by most standards (see photos). A good representation of a quality-made toy. This plush doll would make a nice ELSIE THE COW display for the VINTAGE TOY and/or ADVERTISING CHARACTER MEMORABILIA enthusiast.
