Description: Came across this at an estate sale. In 1950 Stanford won their division championship, which at the time was called the California Intercollegiate Baseball Association, or CIBA for short. It lasted until 1966. Info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Intercollegiate_Baseball_Association This was Everett Dean's first year as head coach of the Cardinals. And while they would go on to compete with Washington State in the Pacific Coast Conference and lose, in 1953 he would lead the team all the way to the College World Series. You can read more about the 1950 season here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1950_NCAA_baseball_season This is a fantastic piece of Baseball history. It is a reproduction of the original photo, but I imagine only so many of these were made. The complete picture with frame is 38 x 22 and is ready to be hung. See pics for names of the players and coaches. If you are near or local to Sacramento, happy to arrange local pickup. Otherwise will be fragile packed and insured. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
