Description: Hello! I sell here pre-owned 1947s ZIM ChK-6 Vintage Old USSR Serviced Mechanical Watch Open Heart НКВД/NKVD. The watch is in perfectly working order. This is a LARGE wristwatch made on a base of Soviet pocket watch ZIM produced in USSR in 1947s. The movement of this watch is stamped with the production date 2-47 (picture #4). This is a wristwatch converted from a pocket watch ZIM ChK-6. The pocket case and mechanism of this watch was converted by an experienced watchmaker into a wristwatch. These watches are made in one copy. After the alteration, this watch was not used by anyone. It is very interesting watch with very beautiful dial. The original dial was in poor condition and replaced with this one. The case is made of cupronickel. Its mechanical hand-winding movement has got a caliber mark "ЧК-6". It contains 15 ruby jewels. It is mechanical and needs to be wound once a day. It comes with a new faux leather wristband. The watch is used as seen on the images below but runs well and keeps time accurately as it has been serviced (cleaned, lubricated and calibrated) by a professional watchmaker.
