Description: For sale is a hood (front) emblem for a 1947 Studebaker M5 truck. There is one number on the reverse side - 5753. (Please note that I am not a parts expert. Please rely upon the provided pictures, part number(s) as well as your own research to determine suitability for your application.) It is in good condition with signs of use and aging. There is minor loss of chrome on the bottom edge (underneath 'E', Photo 4) as well as minor surface scratches in the chrome. Paint fill in 'Studebaker' letters is worn away. Stud guides are in place but the studs are missing. There is also a very small crack on the bottom edge of the emblem (Photo 5). Bottom edge some very minor areas of surface rusting. Provided images may contain unwanted relections. This is a curved emblem that would have fit the center front of the hood just above the grille. Measuring from tip to tip along the front, it is 14.5 inches in length. It is 2.1 inches in depth at its deepest point. Please contact with any questions or requests for additional photos.
