Description: I am a collector. I am not a dealer. The coins I am selling are from my personal collection. If you have questions please ask before bidding. Ø US bidders onlyØ Please pay within three days of auction close.Ø I ship to US addresses only. Please no APO/FPO addresses. Please read the following before buying. This coin is from my personal registry grade nickel collection. It is an example of the wartime silver alloy mintage of 5-cent coins. This short series was "introduced on October 8, 1942...to eliminate nickel, a critical war material. A larger mint mark was placed above the dome of Monticello, indicating the change of alloy." This well-struck coin has maintained its bright original luster. It is brilliant on both obverse and reverse surfaces. The eye appeal is splendid. This is the last proof 5-cent piece that will be produced until the end of World War II. Seller will insure for mailing and a signature will be required for delivery. The coin pictured is the one being offered. Thank you for looking.
