The 5 Records are 78 rpms and were produced by the WOR Recording Division in New York City. Although the cover of this set displays wear the records themselves are in remarkable shape for their age. The recordings include President Roosevelt’s War Message to a Joint Session of Congress after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor – Monday, December 8, 1941. The others include Winston Churchill’s “Hands Across the Sea” message to the Joint Session of Congress – Friday, December 26, 1941. Very hard to find item from the World War II era.
