The cel exhibits some overall separation and loss of paint in the second finger of the right hand near the ink line; at the bridge of Mickey's nose; and, has small hairline cracks in both feet. The cel is placed in register to a hand-prepared watercolor background measuring 5 ¾" H x 5 ¾" W. Created by Kirk Ludwig, the background depicts a chair at which Mickey is seated and a table on which he rests his feet. Mr. Ludwig has signed the hand-prepared background on the verso and attached his business card. A gold colored plate is engraved with "Fantasia 1940" and is located on the matte, directly under the cel of Mickey. The cel is in very good condition and the background is in excellent condition.
