Cover includes a metallic gold image of the famous Trylon and Perisphere, the modernistic structures that became the central symbol of the fair. Obviously, a Ben Franklin High School class visited the 1939 World's Fair, and this was their unique souvenir. Includes pages for personal photos, teacher / class leader names, classmate addresses, & loads of autograph pages (many filled out with interesting sentiments & perspectives of 1939 life). Also included is the original box with Trylon and Perisphere boldly featured (dozens of fellow classmate names are inked on inside box lid). A one-of-a-kind NYWF keepsake for the 1939 New York World's Fair aficionado. Condition of ALBUM is considered GOOD with mild surface/stain/edge wear. Mild surface creasing with no tears or spine separation. Condition of BOX is considered FAIR to POOR with miscellaneous surface/scuff/edge wear. Scattered surface creasing, pen writing, & edge tears with two side panels loose but included. Misc. clear tape & residue on right lid edging & on loose sides. Overall, we feel the graphic "look" of this autograph album is very appealing. Despite box defects, we feel this is a very displayable souvenir by most standards (see photos).
