Description: 1934P - 1935P - 1936P INDIAN/BUFFALO NICKEL TRIO ALL THREE GRADE VERY-GOOD TO FINE WITH ORIGINAL SURFACES The so-called Indian/Buffalo nickel was designed by sculptor James Earl Frasier (his “F” initial appears below the date), and it was coined from 1913 to early 1938. He used three Native Americans to model for the obverse: Iron Tail (Sioux), Big Tree (Kiowa) and Two Moons (Cheyenne). The reverse actually shows an American Bison rather than a buffalo! These coins are often considered our “Most American Coin”! This group of three coins includes dates of 1934, 1935 and 1936. All three were coined at the Philadelphia Mint and are original coins that have not had any chemical alterations - BUT note that the 1934 does have some obverse scratches. I assign a grade of Very-Good or better to each of the coins - but you should view the provided scanned photos to make your own decision. I have collected coins since 1959, and the so-called “Buffalo Nickel” was always a favorite of mine. Due to age and health, I’ve decided it’s time for my coins to find a new home/caretaker! Winning bidder pays $.63 shipping in a regular envelope. I will combine shipping on multiple coin purchases when possible. Thanks for looking - and good luck with your bids!
