Original 1934 A Series of 24 Dogs, Issued Gallaher Ltd., Dogs Series with beautiful duotone art paintings on a buttery golden background. Note that two different sizes of this card were manufactured, this being the standard size, and there is a more square, much larger size also found in my eBay store at this time! Each card is Very Good to Excellent condition. Size of the card is 2.5" long by 1.5" tall. Printed on the reverse side with details of the breed, the series number, card number and breed name as well as the name of the dog the portrait is painted of (all well known show dogs of that time). Artwork is outlined with a fine black line and white border, art image is 2.3" x 1.25". Very bright and vibrant artwork on this card!! These are not only great breed collectibles and memorabilia or ephemera, they make great gifts, dog show trophies, presents, and look incredible framed on a desk, mantle or wall!!
