Ricardo Zamorra was one of the greatest goalkeepers of all-time by consensus of numerous groups/voters and is the namesake of the best La Liga goalie award. He also played for Real Madrid. Need I say more? Zamorra has few cards from his active days, or at all really, and this is one of three in the fairly tough 1932 Monopol sportphotos set. There are NO PSA graded copies and this is one of just four SGC graded copies, the only SGC 3.5 VG+ (POP 1) with two higher, topping out at a 5. There are a combined 14 copies of the other two Zamorra at SGC with only one grading above a 5, a 6. So this is upper mid grade for the set 60-40 and 65-35 front centering, clean front and back with a couple dinged corners. A really nice presenting copy.
