Photographed at Bloomington IL in 1934 by the documentary photographer Charles Medin. Looking at this intersection on Google maps ~ the only remnant remaining of this lovely, tree-shaded, old neighborhood is the LaFayette Apartments (the tall building in background).Charles Medin was artist/photographer and then assistant editor of the Illinois Central Magazine, circa 1900s to 1949.
