Description: 1930 Chocolate Amatller El Tesoro de Rabin Rare, very early Mickey Mouse set Card #23 SGC 4.5 Pop 1, only 4 SGC graded, this is 2nd highest graded Just graded Considered one of the rarest Mickey Mouse card sets ever produced THE TREASURE OF RABÍN After the previous crazy race, Kaifás, not feeling safe in China, boards a boat and leaves for Japan just in time, as a mysterious Chinese man who later turned out to be Rabín, was about to catch him. Card is 2.75” x 4”. Early 1930s set issued by "Celso Lopez Vinos" of Logrono Spain. The story is about Mickey Mouse guarding a safe with a gun only to fall asleep, allowing Rabin to loot it. Mickey gives chase by bicycle, boat, foot, train and by plane before parachuting after Rabin. They eventually land in Russia, where the chase continues on sleighs, allowing Rabin to escape to Japan and then India (where Rabin rides an alligator) and Africa before Rabin catches a hot air balloon into space, where Mickey captures him and reclaims his prized chocolate (and revealing the contents of his safe from the start of the story).
