Description: This vintage composition doll represents Spain, in her burgundy dress with gold and black lace trim along with her burgundy and black headdress. There are no obvious markings. Clothing glued and stapled on including her headdress. White socks, and white tied shoes. Her legs, arms and head are strung together through the body. Black hair and painted blue eyes.Due to the fact that clothing is attached permanently to doll and she is composition, it suggests it was made before the 1950's , perhaps purchased at a World's Fair Doll was preciously owned by a friend’s mother, and has been stored for decades. She is in good shape for her age. Minor cracks seen close up in composition face, consistent with age. Clothing is stapled on as is hair mantel piece. Hair is glued Clothing is original and susceptible to age related breakdown. Hair a little wonky due to positioning in storage . She is a great addition to a doll collection.
