Description: Note: Please study the images carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person. There was a dense fog at the time. The first train was of two portions, the front half having come from Marseilles and the rear from Switzerland. It was running at at good speed, when a coupling broke. It was decided to detach the damaged coach and while the Swiss portion was still on the main line it was run into by the Lyons express. Among the injured was the Very Reverend Frederick Dent, Canon of the Roman Catholic Church Tonypandy. Our picture shows the engine of the express after colliding with the train. Photo measures 8.5 x 6.5 inches. Photo Is dated 1926. PHOTO FRONT PHOTO BACK Historic Images Part Number: nei56069 Sell Smarter with Kyozou.Inventory and Ecommerce Management
