Description: Here is a beautiful celluloid photo pin of the Schenley Matinee Club racetrack Champion of 1924 JUDGE BLAIR 209 1/2 with an attached first place blue ribbon that has the year 1925. The pin has a brass filigree border and measures approx. 2" with the ribbon measuring approx. 2 1/8" by 7". It is gold embossed and has several tears with scotch tape reinforcements seen on the reverse to hold it together for these scanned images. The pin is in very good condition and has a portion of its original paper backing as evidenced by the scan. Despite these shortcomings, this remains an interesting 100 year old collectible from a Pittsburgh racetrack that is now gone. Thanks for looking at this auction.
