A great find from a local New England estate! This scarce antique magazine is over 100 years old! In fantastic condition for being nearly 100 years old! Exterior shows some light soiling and rubbing, general creasing, around the extremities, including bumping to the corner and minor chipping on the front and back covers, and some staining to the rear caused by early exposure to moisture. The spine also shows a bit of soiling, chipping and loss that make the issue number, title and publication date difficult to read. Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. Though there is some cracking to both the front and rear hinges, both covers and all page groupings remain attached to the stapled binding. The staples show some light rusting as pictured. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from bookplates, signatures, inscriptions and library markings. The text block of this volume is clean throughout. There is some typical age-related toning to the pages, some light soiling and foxing, some light staining in the margins, as well as some general wear around the page edges including minor edge tears, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from marjoram rips and tears, as well as writing and markings.
